Well, I don’t know. I saw some oak trees quivering on a hillside today. It looked to me that they might be getting sucked into the earth. I mean, I know the scientist said that any black hole would evaporate “within a billionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a second.” Then he added the chances of the earth getting sucked up were “totally miniscule.” Not so reassuring. Still, I suppose getting sucked into a black hole is a better end that drowning when the polar ice melts.

(I just hope it happens after the Cubs win the world series.)
